The Origins and Growth

Pakerson's success story began in 1923 in the town of Cerreto Guidi, one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, just a stone's throw from Florence, Tuscany's capital city of art, where Giulio Brotini opened a small artisan workshop.

"We are in the Tuscan countryside and my great-grandfather began as a shoemaker, creating beautiful shoes to go to Sunday mass," says Gabriele Brotini, great-grandson of the founder and now at the helm of the company with his sister Elisa.

The artisan workshop goes on for several years, conquering, thanks to the high quality of the products, also the local nobility.

In the post-war period the small artisan workshop became an industrial reality with Giulios's son, Luciano, at the forefront. The trademark was born in 1958 in a rather curious way. Luciano, a fond lover of Parker pens, would like to call the company Parker & Son, but due to a trivial transcription error, the name Pakerson was forged. Despite the misunderstanding, the novelty was immediately appreciated and was received with complete satisfaction.

After conquering the Italian market, the company begins to enter several foreign markets achieving the highest standards. Following the economic crisis and the Russian market, the company had to undergo internal restructuring. Today, Pakerson is embarking on a new impetus to spread the pleasure of excellence through the quality of its noble leather and the skill of its artisans.

This happened at the beginning of the last century in Cerreto Guidi, a Renaissance village in the Chianti hills, a stone's throw from Florence and the land of Leonardo da Vinci, in the heart of Tuscany.

Thinking back with nostalgia to those times, it seems as if one could see the great-grandfather Giulio Brotini, sitting and bent over his workbench, accepting such a barter, while smiling with the humble pride of the Florentine craftsmen, who knew the secrets of leather, the mysterious techniques of processing and also the personal stories of the customers, of the individual countrymen and their families.

The small workshop, opened almost a century ago, is the foundation of Pakerson's history, which has its roots in this artisan workshop whose excellence, timeless style, passion, scents, noises and colors the company proudly preserves today. The spirit.
